Work that Matters 1-2

What Matters?

Next Monday I’ll be setting up my studio in the Cottleville Synergy Center to raise funds and awareness for The Child Advocacy Center of Northeast Missouri. The organization exists to protect children, heal families and prevent child abuse. The primary goal of The Child Center is to ensure that children disclosing abuse are not further victimized by the intervention systems designed to protect them. Services offered include forensic interviews, children and family advocacy, mental health therapy, and school and community-based prevention education programs.

From what I’ve heard, the pandemic, the closing of schools and the lock down a year ago made things a lot worse for children in a bad situation. It also made abuse much harder to detect. That’s what matters to me next week.

Up Your Image “Express”

Up Your Image

My most popular photographic service is the Up Your Image head shot portrait for business professionals. I create the first impression clients receive when looking at a business card, brochure or a profile head shot. I serve attorneys, accountants, insurance agents, financial advisors, CEOs, not to mention the sole practitioner landscape and occasional window cleaner.

Besides portraiture I also offer branding packages, images for your website, events, family portraits, maternity and beauty. I also have a small catalog of fine art and a greeting card collection.

For the person who cares (about their image), and when it matters, I’m here to serve.

Up Your Image “Express” to benefit The Child Advocacy Center

I’m proud to collaborate with No9 Networking, the Cottleville Synergy Center and The Child Advocacy Center to offer the Up Your Image “Express”. We’ve set up 20 minute time slots all day Monday August 23, 2021 for people to drop in and get a Mike Winslow style professional head shot for a donation of one hundred dollars.

The last time I looked, there are a few spots left for this one day only event. If you are in the St. Louis, St. Charles market and are looking to up your image and help a great cause at the same time, click the link below to register.

More Work that Matters

Last week I had the privilege to do some branding work with Rod and Britton Murchison in their new work out studio called Hotworx. This is a great idea that generates health benefits of exercise in half the time because you are in a sauna. “Earn the Burn is a phrase you’ll hear a lot. Here are a couple of shots.

Final Thoughts

In these unprecedented times, remember to give your fellow human being plenty of grace (space), as we all have been through and are going through plenty of sh!t.

Thanks for dropping by. Please feel free to leave your thoughts in the appropriate box below.

Peace,
Mike
