Photography and Other Things

I tell you, we are here on Earth to fart around, and don’t let anybody tell you different.

Photography and Other Things

Lord knows, I like to fart around. Especially at my age. I’ll be seventy in June which also gives me a limited license to be grumpy and expound from the well of wisdom I’ve built over the years at various and sundry times of my choosing.

That falls in the “other things” category. On the photography side, hey I photographed the 1972 Oldsmobile 442 for a marketing company out of Cleveland that will be on a nationally published calendar for PPG Paints. These images are not going in the calendar, but give a sense of the “super model” I was working with.

More Photography

One of the services I offer, when not farting around, is corporate event photography. This short video captures 5 hours of a brainstorming meeting for business people and entrepreneurs. The Business Accelerator Mega event was sponsored by the Cottleville Weldon Spring Chamber of Commerce.

In addition to corporate events, I’ve been busy shooting corporate headshots, families, senior photos – and stuff just for fun, shall we say “farting around”.

Final Thought

Were all going to “leave”, sooner or later. My question is what will you leave behind. I recommend getting a few photos off your phone or made by a professional and print it. You can leave it behind. It’s called legacy.

….And finally, be sure to build some time in your schedule to fart around.

Best,
Mike

  1. Good advice, Mike. Some of my better work emerges during extended periods of flatulence. It is important to me to get a “safe” shot, the push the boundaries by asking my collaborators crank it up to 11 (see “This Is Spinal Tap” – 1984 for the context).

    1. I’ll check out Spinal Tap. Thanks Preston!

  2. I totally agree. Our phones, just like us, won’t be around forever. Get those pictures printed & display those memories. Better yet, get an amazing photographer like yourself to capture those moments

    1. You’re the best Amy !
