The Photographer’s Soul

“Light makes photography. Embrace light. Admire it. Love it. But above all, know light. Know it for all you are worth, and you will know the key to photography.”

Goat Yoga

Normally I don’t get invited to yoga classes with my camera, but Patty made sure she was on my “busy” calendar last week for goat yoga at the 311 Wine Bar in St. Peters last week. The biggest goat in the heard decided to pin Patty to the ground. Thankfully my job only required taking pics while having a beer. Namaste.

Celebrating Enterprise and Beauty

Dolo Brewer was born in Guinea West Africa. She came to the United States at age 15. Today she’s married with three daughters. Dolo buys handmade jewelry from entrepreneurial women in her native land and imports it for sale in the United States (and elsewhere). Here is a link to her website The Seny Collection. If I remember our conversation correctly seny means beauty. Thank you Dolo for the privilege to make your headshot and fashion images. Ps. Be sure to check out the purses!

In Closing

Thank you so much for dropping by. I’d love to hear your comments in the appropriate box below. If you leave your website in the comments, you get a back link which is a good thing.

Going back to a previous blog, I’m sticking with my philosophical observation that life is “Good and Hard”. I hope it’s good for you today. If not I hope you find strength to get back to the good.

If you haven’t had family photos in the last couple years, you might considering getting it done. I know it is a little work and expense, but don’t you want a record of life and family as it is today for legacy purposes.

I’ve updated the slide show at Amazing Photographs. I enjoy the photos and the sound track is soothing.

Peace,
Mike
