Boo!

Boo! I have mixed feelings about Halloween. I can’t say I look forward to the event and the traditions, probably because I’m just getting old. But that doesn’t mean that I don’t appreciate other people’s enthusiasm for getting in costume and character.

The photo above is a composite I made with Anna Alt last year.

Here are a few slides from Witches Night Out event in Cottleville Mo. I am the official roving photographer.

Fall Family Photography Sessions

Time is running out for Fall Family Photography Sessions. The only way I can stop the clock is to take the photograph. And the is the point. A photograph immortalizes your family in that slice of time.

Every time I deliver portraits or art to a client I get a secret satisfaction (and joy) knowing that my work will be enjoyed in the present, and most likely will survive long after I’ve departed this life.

What Scares Me?

So what scares the boo out of me? The chance that you leave behind more than a zillion crappy pixelated cell phone photos none, of which will justify the cost of the ink to put it on paper when they plan your celebration of life.

If that scares you too, then consider investing in a family photo session once a year. Maybe you should have your headshot updated every two or three years. And be sure to order the prints.

This is how I stop time. Click on the image to see a few more fall family photographs.

Final Thought

Final thought? A lot of people get spooked when they think of a photo session with a real photographer, but you won’t be scared with your work with me.

Thanks for dropping by,
Mike
